Our approach to sizing your solar system entails a comprehensive overview of your energy consumption profile including types of loads and timing. During your in-home assessment your Virtual Power Co energy consultant will ask about any future additions to your home that you are planning in the future. This can include electric vehicles, spas, pools, airconditioners and granny flats.

An important point to remember is that solar generation varies throughout the year. Your energy consumption is also likely to vary throughout the year.  When we build a forecast model for your home, we can identify when you may have periods that require increased solar power to cover your energy consumption. This effects the size selected for your home.

Using this information in conjunction with your roof orientation, angle and any shading effecting the roof, we can design a system that is appropriately sized to achieve your objectives.
